Repeat Prescriptions

For patients on regular medication, repeat prescriptions can be requested by post, fax, in person, or on-line.

We do not accept prescriptions over the phone, due to the potential risk of errors.

The prescription will be ready within 48 hrs of receiving the request.

Many of our local pharmacies can also arrange for a prescription collection service – please speak to you pharmacist, or to reception, for more information.

Requesting a repeat prescription

The doctor will need to review you and your medication at regular intervals. You may be asked to make an appointment before a further prescription can be issued.

In person: Using the right hand page of your prescription, tick the required items, and leave it with the receptionist. (If you do not have this to hand, clearly write down your name and date of birth, and those items you require). You can collect the completed prescription 48 hours later.

By fax: Send your name and date of birth with a clearly written list of the items you require to: 020 8789 8568.

You can collect the completed prescription 48 hrs later.

By post: You can post us the right hand page of your prescription, (or a clearly written request including your name and date of birth). If you wish the prescription to be posted back to you, please enclose a SAE.

From the pharmacist: Many local pharmacies have a daily collection service from the surgery. Speak to your pharmacist or to reception for details.
